The ‘Wild’ line of horses out of the stakes winning mare Wild Creek promises to be prominent on the track this season. All three of these runners were bred by Barb Saunders out of the stakes winning mare Wild Creek by Chapel Creek.

A number of yearlings purchased at the 2013 CTHS Alberta Yearling Sale have great potential to be up and coming new racing stars. The top seller of the sale - a gelding by North Light out of Golden Made- was bred by Highfield Stock Farms Ltd. Owners Curtis and Darrell Landry and Red Diamond Stable have high hopes for this gelding as Golden Made is also the dam of their successful Highfield bred runner Tell Me Lies. Another purchase to watch from the same sale will be the gelding by Cape Canaveral out of Crystal Forest - a full sibling to the highly successful stakes winner Canaveral Leader. If she is ready, then she will race. Too early to tell right now.” Lunar Gem by Tiffany Ice was a tough race mare bred in Alberta by Denny Andrews who earned over $50,000 in 36 starts.  Hollywood Dreams has been running at Hollywood Park over the winter and is always a horse to watch at the track.
