altASI renewal starts now! Deadline for renewal at the introductory price of $25/year is January 17, 2011

The initial launch of the Alberta Stables Initiative has been a success and has been gaining momentum throughout the year. The success of 2010 can be credited to those who were willing to participate and we would like to extend a sincere thank you for getting involved. What’s still missing: involvement from more stables!

Alberta Stables were promoted at the following events throughout the 2010 year.

Farmfair's Amaze-ing Ag

We have divided the province into 20 regions, to better enable us to reach all parts of the stable community and provide support through regional representation. Voluntary

representatives will be the area contacts for meetings, education and information, and will assist the program coordinator, program partners and stable owners with communications about industry issues and the initiative's progress. These regions and anticipated meeting dates are posted on www.findalbertastables.ca under Education.

As 2010 draws to a close we would like to take the opportunity to recognize the stables that participated in the inaugural year of the initiative.
